The future of Industry in Town

We are facing the issue of eviction of all productive activities from the central district. Many architects and decision-makers tend to promote the ision of a clean-creative-glossy town rid of all the nuisance. And this way of designing cities often overlooks basic services and productive activities which need to relocate far away in the periphery. Read more
inner-city stations - hubs of connection
A common phenomenon of many European cities in the last forty years has been the restructuring of inner city land for improving places of connection for either road, rail or water transport systems. In some cases this has been triggered by the relocation of functions to peripheral sites, to improve functionality and accessibility, or in others redevelopment, to increase the alue of the land while maintaining the connection functions.
