INTA Panel Urban Observatory Benin |

 From the 3rd to the 8th of April, the Ministry of Decentralisation of Benin invited an INTA Advisory Panel that took place in the City of Natitingou, in the north of Benin, West Africa. The aim of the Panel was to assist the Benin Authorities in the establishment of a Regional Observatory of Local Governance and Decentralization. The Panel was composed of urban development practitioners from 7 countries -local elected
officials and technicians, public or private developers- who questioned which governance delivery vehicle in the
context of decentralization is needed to support integrated urban development. The Panel included several high level executives and practitioners from
Benin and Mali. The operational conclusions of the INTA panel were presented to
Beninese authorities at the end of the mission. More information on the Panel in Benin
