Association Internationale Villes et Ports

AIVP is a non-profit making organisation, set up under the French Law on Associations of 1901, and governed by an international Board of Directors comprised of decision-makers and professionals in the development of port cities. The Association's headquarters is in Le Havre (France), the port city where it was founded in 1988.

AIVP is an international network of public and private stakeholders implicated in the sustainable development of the port city. AIVP brings together: elected representatives of cities and other local government, maritime, and waterway bodies; port administrations and their national tutelary authorities, urban and port operators; enterprises installed in port cities; service providers for city – port projects, architects, landscape architects, and urban planners; universities and Research Institutes.
