2006 Belfast, UK

At the occasion of INTA’s 30th World Urban Development Congress held in Belfast in October 2006, the Belfast City Council – partner of the SportUrban project and of INTA's congress itself – hosted a SportUrban audit integrated in the Congress programme.

First class speakers and top experts such Bob Yaro, Michael Parkinson and Greg Clark, together with high-level decision makers from all over the world discussed three essential topics for successful cities of tomorrow: Creativity, Competitiveness and Community. The Congress was followed by the technical visits to Sport facilities in Belfast, several working sessions and presentation of recommendations.
