2006 Seine St. Denis, France

INTA and SportUrban organised a Panel on the development of a leisure and sport site in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis called “Marville”. The area is managed both by the City of Paris as by the County council and has a total surface of 15 acres and is home to several sport facilities such as a swimming pool, soccer fields, tennis courts, etc... The site is located near the periphery of the Parisian agglomeration - a dense urban environment - and is surrounded by important national and international roads that separate it, amongst others, from a park of 500 acres. The objective of this panel was to put the ongoing works in the international perspective composed by the different relevant experiences of the partners and the outcomes of the previous activities and discussions conducted in the framework of the project
