INTA and the Japanese Local Governments
INTA was invited by the Paris office of CLAIR (Japanese Center for overseas representation of Japanese Local Governments) on January 22 at a symposium on the comparative politics of Japan and France in sustainable urban development. Interventions from communities Dunkirk, Nice and Kawaguchi-Kyoto served as the basis for a debate which has mobilized cities and territories: Malakoff, Paris, Limoges, Issy-les-Moulineaux, St. Cloud, Versailles, Chartres, Yamanashi, Aichi, Hyogo ; and companies: Michelin, ADEME, ADER Consulting Nemawashi, NEDO, JETRO. Contacts have been made and a meeting with Director General of CLAIR Paris is planned. These meetings should help to develop the network of INTA in Japan where we have organized several seminars and 2 panels in recent years and have around 10 members. A workshop and a panel discussion on Innovation and Tourism on the island of Kyushu is being prepared for the end of this year.
