The Interdepartmental agency for the management of sports facilities of the County Council of Seine St Denis in the North East of Paris is inviting an INTA panel to propose a master plan for two major sports sites in the County. The first site of 33 ha (81 acres) - the parc des sports et de loisirs de Marville - is fully equipped (50 m swimming pool, a 12 000 seats soccer stadium, field tracks, playing grounds, tennis courts, dressing rooms, firing range, etc.); however, it will be restructured with new equipments and facilities required by several sports federations (ice hockey ring, climbing wall, rugby stadium, firing range, etc.).

Marville is located on the edge of the natural Park of La Courneuve whose development is linked to a certain extent to that of Marville. The second site of 20 ha (49 acres), parc sportif de Bobigny is close to a hospital and should be restructured; both sites should become complementary to each other and both are in a short distance from the Stade de France in St Denis. INTA is calling an international panel to assist the Sports agency in achieving its development goals. The next meetings are scheduled in September and November.
